Hey thanks for taking the time to stop by and find out a little more about me and my world.

I chose the number 7 behind my name for a couple of reasons. The first being that 7 has always been a very lucky number for me so I love its energy as a number. If you have read the book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success written by Deepak Chopra you will understand a little more about me.

Secondly,  on another level there are 7 things that I will tell you about ,that I believe are of great importance in a business. Whatever kind of business it is..I will soon be releaseding an E-book to give you the details…Its great reading and you will be able to put my ideas into practise very quickly and easily.. ( Email me if you would like to be one of the first to recieve it.)  So you see, the number 7 has very special significance and not just because I was the 7th person to choose the name moneycoach. In fact I think I am only the second  but anyway…

I live in Tauranga, New Zealand. That’s way down in the beautiful south pacific for all you geography buffs.

With a long career in the IT industry and in IT management, I have a good understanding of what it takes to manage teams and to get the best out of people. I have a good understanding of what it takes to make a company work at optimum levels beacuse I have done it before. Its all about the people. They are after all the most valuable resource a company can have. There is a saying that goes “a team is only as strong as its weakest link” which is probably true but in my mind there should be no weaklinks in a team as long as the team has been managed right.

In the last 3 years I moved away from IT and into the area of Business Coaching where I now currently apply knowledge,experience and passion to help business owners grow their businesses and eventually either sell them or live off the earnings. Behind every business owner there is usually a family and the failure or the success of a business has an effect on the family.

Thats one of my major drivers and why I do what I do with such passion. Being a family man I am very aware how business can affect families and relationships.

I am totally a proud father of my two daughters Shania-may and Rhiannon, and the very happy husband to Charmian( See my photos on Facebook) who is absolutely the woman of my dreams and is my best friend in the world. We laugh so much and have such a great time together that it just doesnt feel like we are working anymore..I guess in a way we are just two mates having a great time and helping others do the same.

I love sports, play squash, Charmian (Pronounced Shar-me-in )and I both Dance ( watch out for the movie ) and love red wine, cooking and chillies. I am the hockey coach to my oldest daughters team and do some work for the local Member of Parliment here in Tauranga as well as sit as Chairman for a local business group.

My two daughters will grow up to change the way the world thinks. We both encourage them to believe in themselves and to seek out knowledge and look to help others whereever they can. Shania is ultra competitive ( like her old man) and Rhiannon has been born with “an old head on young shoulders”. Watch out for these two.. ( proud daddy huh!  Lol)

This blog will be introducing both basic and advanced concepts around running a successful business be it a “brick and Mortar” business or an online business. Because I  also  understand network marketing, I am also able to offer advice that covers that industry based around motivating and managing teams of people to succeed and stay focused. I take a leaf out of Mike Dillards book and believe you need to develop into a leader before people will follow you.
